UKF interview – Moments in Time

Updating my website to include recent interviews around my LP ‘Moments in Time’….

When Part 1 of my album was released in November I spoke to Dave Jenkins at UKF for a good hour or so about the album and my life leading up to it. Editing it down into this coherent piece is one of Dave’s greatest achievements as a journalist. This one goes pretty deep at times, and there were some dark times during the making of my album, but you need these life lessons to push you forwards.

30 Minutes of Philth – June 2017

30 MINS JUNE 2017 v3

My favourite music taken from June’s new releases and promos. Lots of new music from Dispatch, Integral, Metalheadz, Peer Pressure and Spearhead…. all the good stuff basically. There was a lot of music to choose from so I just kept mixing, I rolled it out for two hours and had time to move through different flavours and moods. Enjoy the journey!

DJ Mag Bunker – live set (audio and video)

DJM Bunker 1

DJM Bunker 4

A few weeks ago I played at Work – Bar/Nightclub for the Dispatch Recordings label showcase on DJ Mag Bunker. As you can see I had a great time!
My set is available both to watch video and stream audio. I’ve listened/watched it back and I’m really happy with my set – and my dancing! I played lots of new stuff which you are hearing for the first time, and of course plenty of classics as well. Check it out and learn some new moves.

Guest show on Kool London – 16/07/15

Last week I was invited to play a guest show on the legendary Kool London. I’ve been listening to Kool for 20 years so it was an honour to talk about my music and mix live on the airwaves. I want to say a huge thanks to Chef for bringing me on as his special guest.

The show is now up on Mixcloud. Listen back to hear some of my forthcoming music on Peer Pressure Records, Flexout, AutomAte Spearhead Records and Dispatch Recordings.

This is also the first set where you can hear my forthcoming collabs with Collette Warren, Riya, Fats & DRS, and Agman Gora. Tonnes of new music!

Dispatch Recordings label mix

I was asked to record this month’s Dispatch Recordings label mix… I rammed it full of as many tracks as I could squeeze into an hour, mostly fresh music but a few classics as well. The rolling Dispatch sound.

Tune Of The Week #12

Transit 2 has arrived. Dispatch Recordings deliver their second compilation LP and have pooled the talents of some of the most exciting producers in the tech side of the scene. Longtime Dispatch soldiers are joined by fresh new talent for a journey through the dark side. The lead track sees Skeptical working his magic with vocals once again. The intro is sparse, creating the build up through subtle tension and the drop does not disappoint. In fact it disgusts!

Amoss ft MC Fokus – The Shapeshifter (Skeptical remix)

Tune Of The Week #3

So this week I’ve cheated. There are two tracks that have blown me away, and I’m going to pick them both as my Tune Of The Week. However – they’re on the same label, and in fact on the same release! Impossible to choose between two expertly executed tech rollers – with an all-star cast of collaborators. From a label at the top of the game right now, Dispatch 070 is my pick this week.
